There are bullies everywhere–even in the church. Satan will use anyone and any methods to push people away from the truth and love of God’s holy word. Thank you for speaking the truth about this issue.

I ‘ve read it before but as I’m sitting here reminiscing on the tough year up 2017 and wondering exactly what the future holds with lots of questions and this point in my life! Katherine Duncan you are such a strong woman an inspiration to many. God has really giving you the talent of writing. What an awesome author! Continue to write and encourage others. My prayers are with you, Jonathan in your direction in the days to come for your family.

Comment on Does God Allow Suffering? by gary /god-allow-suffering/#comment-489 Sun, 03 Dec 2017 01:55:12 +0000 /?p=2058#comment-489 We skeptics and you believers could continue to exchange historical evidence for and against each other’s beliefs, but I suggest that there is another very quick way to determine who is right: Common sense.

I believe that the following common sense statement proves your entire belief system false: A Being who claims to be all-powerful, perfectly good, and perfectly just would never stand by and do nothing while a small child is being raped and murdered. Yet such acts of unimaginable, horrific violence occur on earth every day of every year and have been occurring every day of every year for all of human existence.

The Christian god is either a liar (and the epitome of evil) or he is non-existent.

I encourage you to read the following story of a little girl gang-raped at the age of nine who then asked her Sunday School teacher why Jesus allowed her to be raped:

I completely agree that teaching our children apologetics is one of the most important tools we can give them in life. I wish I would have had a deeper understanding of my faith when I was a child. You are spot on about 1 Peter 3:15! With the help of Natasha’s book, and the many other wonderful resources out there, parents have no excuse not to raise a generation of warriors!

I might say that someone once told me that the God of the entire Universe wanted to know me personally and for me to know Him. This made me curious about God. I have studied a bit about how the world works and how well-designed our Universe is and what the Bible says about Jesus seemed like this amazing perfect idea of how I could maybe know God, in spite of my inability to be good enough. And when I prayed to Him and started trying to listen to Him, I found a feeling of love I had never known existed.
